Billing Reconciliation Audit
A 2–3 week audit of where your billing data, CRM data, and reported revenue disagree — and how to make them tie out.
Who this is for
- Your Stripe data and Salesforce (or HubSpot) data don't agree on ARR
- Revenue numbers don't tie out across billing, CRM, and your data warehouse
- You're preparing for an audit and need clean, defensible billing data
- You recently migrated billing platforms and need to verify nothing drifted
- A new CFO inherited the billing setup and doesn't trust the numbers
What you get
- Drift report (system-by-system, account-level where relevant)
- Root-cause analysis of each drift category
- Reconciliation playbook (one-time cleanup + ongoing process)
- Recommended tooling and process changes
- 90-minute leadership readout call
Timeline
2–3 weeks depending on the number of systems involved. More integrations and data sources means more surfaces to reconcile.
Week 1
System inventory, data extraction, initial drift identification. I map every place billing data lives and where the numbers start to disagree.
Week 2–3
Root-cause analysis, playbook drafting, leadership readout. You receive the full deliverable set and a 90-minute walkthrough with your team.
What it costs
Pricing is set during the scoping call once fit and scope are confirmed. Engagements are fixed-fee — you'll get a written quote before any work begins, and the price won't move unless the scope does.
Both engagements are designed to come in well below the cost of an in-house specialist hire or a Big-4 advisory engagement. The fee is set to come in well below what a single unresolved drift issue typically costs to fix after the fact.
What this doesn't include
- Implementation of fixes or data cleanup
- Ongoing reconciliation operations
Sample deliverable
Redacted sample drift report available on request.
Next step
A 30-minute call to confirm scope, timeline, and fit. No pitch, no pressure.
