Pricing Migration Risk Assessment

A 2-week engagement to surface every operational risk in your pricing model migration before you commit to the change.

Who this is for

  • You're migrating from per-seat to usage-based pricing
  • You're moving from flat pricing to tiered or hybrid
  • You're introducing a new pricing model alongside grandfathered enterprise contracts
  • You're harmonizing pricing post-acquisition
  • Your team has decided on the new model but hasn't scoped the operational impact

What you get

  • Risk register, categorized by severity and system surface
  • Remediation roadmap with sequencing and owner suggestions
  • Entitlement matrix (current vs target state)
  • Customer-impact analysis, segmented by contract type, including grandfathered
  • 90-minute leadership readout call
  • Written executive summary suitable for board / CFO consumption

Timeline

Week 1

Discovery, system mapping, contract pattern analysis. I review your billing platform, CRM, entitlement logic, and existing contract structures to identify where the migration creates operational risk.

Week 2

Risk synthesis, roadmap drafting, leadership readout. You receive the full deliverable set and a 90-minute walkthrough with your leadership team.

What it costs

Pricing is set during the scoping call once fit and scope are confirmed. Engagements are fixed-fee — you'll get a written quote before any work begins, and the price won't move unless the scope does.

Both engagements are designed to come in well below the cost of an in-house specialist hire or a Big-4 advisory engagement. The fee is set to come in well below what a single missed risk typically costs to fix after the fact.

What this doesn't include

  • Implementation of the migration itself
  • Ongoing support after the readout
  • Pricing strategy (what to charge) — I can point you to pricing consultants who do this well
